Local Walks

The Vale of Ffestiniog  has a vast range of walks in some beautiful scenery, often away from the crowds of tourists that flock to other, more well know areas of Snowdonia.


John is a  qualified canoe/kayak coach and is happy to arrange trips, where you can  explore the natural surroundings, with just a paddle in hand, and the canoe.

Mountain Biking

Coed y Brenin, Betws y Coed and Penmachno provide a mecca for mountain biker’s looking wishing to try out some superb bike trails. Whether your looking for a fun route, or a serious challenge, this area of Wales has trails which cater for all abilities.

Caving in Snowdonia

Caving is a great all weather outdoor activity, where you can explore the amazing underground world of abandoned mines, lakes, and even waterfalls!  Cwmorthin  mine is 400m away and used by Go Below exploration company.
